Our aim is for art making to serve the well-being and health of people.
PROGRAMS
Painting in the Hospital
Since 2010, children and adolescents hospitalized receive, through this program, an art class per week throughout their period of hospitalization. The activity is carried out by a team of trained artists to serve as hospital art teachers. They transform the room into an artist's workshop, adapting the pictorial challenges to the limitations, capacities and desires of each person.
Training
We offer training in art and health, which contents emphasize the importance of empathy, communication, observation and care of caregivers as a pillar for working with other people. The methodologies are theoretical-practical. It includes Gestalt exercises, corporal expression, meditation, guided visualizations, artistic activities, among others.
Research and diffusion
We understand that both research and diffusion are essential to help establish artistic practice as a complementary tool to medical treatments. We work together with sociologists of DatosClaros New Market Research to obtain qualitative and quantitative data. We participate in congresses and scientific conferences to share our work, give an account of the benefits of our work and continue enriching ourselves with the exchange.
Puste Blumen
Through this program, we generate temporary crossings, site-specific projects where art, health and education integrate into an experience or a work.
