Form the year 2010 we have been working to improve the life conditions of children and their families who live in extreme poverty in the city of Villaguay and neighbouring areas. Our main working areas are the prevention of infant malnutrition, the growth and strengthening of their own abilities, and a holistic education, so that the families who come to us can face the present and the future with better tools.
MISSION: Our mission is to prevent and eradicate malnutrition in our city, Villaguay, and neighbouring areas, promoting healthy growth and nutritional and psychosocial development and support in boys and girls from 0 to 5 years of age. Thus, enabling a better future for them and our country.
PROGRAM:
*CONIN Villaguay Center
-Objective: To prevent infant malnutrition. To strengthen the bond between mother and child and generate the proper conditions for child development. To educate mothers towards self-sustainability.
-Description: We apply CONIN Foundation’s methodology which is based on four pillars: Paediatrics, Nutrition, Early Stimulation and Social Assistance. Our technical team makes a constant and personalised follow up of each child.
-Target population: The target population are children under 5, their families, pregnant mothers with malnutrition problems and high social vulnerability issues.
-Where takes place: Villaguay Entre Rios, North East Region (NEA).
