Fundación Empate
Fundación Empate supports and accompanies the development of people with Down Syndrome through free activities such as futbol, tennis, music, art and trade workshops with job opportunities. Providing tools for social inclusion in all areas.
MISSION: The main pillar of the creation of sports and cultural spaces is to achieve sports and cultural integrity axis as well as global development. We believe that it is essential for people with Down syndrome to develop sportively, culturally and recreationally, in an environment of continuous training, in order to find tools to achieve greater inclusion in society, improve their quality of life, and enhance their psychophysical development. Our activities perform a vital function, by generating encounters between people with and without different types of disabilities; by promoting the development of their psychomotor skills and their formation as people of integrity; and by allowing the experimentation, development and reinforcement of their motor skills, since it is through the understanding of their body that they learn to know the world around them. Therefore, we propose a sports space as a sphere of human inclusion with fewer conflicts and barriers. In many geographical areas, there is a shortage of spaces and facilities where people with Down syndrome can fully develop, have fun, and receive training. At Fundación Empate we seek to fill this gap and offer quality sports spaces.
