During 2 years, our fellows get +300 hours of training and work alongside local teachers in underprivileged schools in Argentina, giving every child the support and education they deserve and delivering amazing results. After graduating, our Alumni go into the education workforce with a deeper, more meaningful knowledge of the systemic challenges and with the commitment and tools to tackle them.
Challenge
The state of education in Argentina is deeply concerning. Shockingly, every 10 minutes, a student finds themselves either repeating a grade or leaving school altogether. Furthermore, a distressing statistic reveals that 1 in 4 primary school students fails to attain a satisfactory level in Language, while 4 in 10 fall short in Mathematics. This critical situation becomes even more pressing when examining the challenges faced by the most socioeconomically vulnerable population.
