Grupo Solidaridad del Espíritu Santo - GSES
Promote and carry out projects to improve quality of life in poor communities focusing in education, health, social development and food and nutrition. Our programmes seek to promote tertiary education and vocational training; develop entrepeneurship; enhance health prevention and child nutrition; and provide food aid to communities attended.

OBJECTIVES
To realize our mission's ideal, our objectives are: to promote tertiary education and vocational training; develop entrepeneurship among small producers and cooperatives; support health prevention and food and nutrition.
PROGRAMS
Tertiary Education Scholarships
Provides the opportunity to continue studying to young people of scarce financial resources. Tertiary and vocational training scholarships.
Maternal and Child Health Plan
The Center for Mother and Child Health "Bonds of Hope" trains mothers on good habits of hygiene and nutrition through cooking workshops and talks; provides early stimulation to their children under 5.
Dental Health-Care Programme “Huellas en la Cava”
Promotes dental health prevention and fosters self-care and personal hygiene among primary school pupils and their teachers. Training as dental health-care promoters of pupils and teachers. Dental emergencies training.
Microcredits Center
Provides financial aid, accompanies projects and helps entrepeneurial people develop their potential. Provides assessment, support and know-how to manage microenterprises.
Weaving Life
Accompanies 5 communities of traditional weavers from Santiago del Estero (60 women), providing cotton and wool; training them in fair trade rules; selling their hand loom products; building wells and installing solar panels in their homes in the forest; supporting their children's education through scholarships.
Weaving Health
Improves access to health care for the weavers in the Weaving Life programme and their families. Organizes campaigns to carry out periodic check controls for disease prevention. Identifies needs and carries out actions under the guidance of Brea Pozo Hospital's director (includes the hospital and 15 health posts).
Fair of Joy
Opens weekly to receive, distribute and sell donations of clothes and home articles at low prices. Its revenue is destined to the scholarships programme and school children's books.
Social and Food Aid Programme
Supports community canteens.
"Christmas Solidarity Meal"
Purchase, filling and distribution of 1,200 bags of foodstuffs for the families attending the community canteens. Applies a food subsidy from the Municipality of San Isidro to the wholesale purchase of foodstuffs.
