Solidarity Campaign

Foundation The project originates in response to the challenges of school digitization, recognizing the urgency of providing students with digital skills for their future work.

Our starting point:

• Pandemic: The health crisis has highlighted the importance of digital education. The need to adapt to distance education shows the urgency of closing the digital divide.
• Educational gap and lack of connectivity: There is a wide educational gap due to the lack of internet access and connectivity in many homes and schools. This affects equal opportunity for students.
• Teacher digital divide: Teachers require preparation and training to face the challenges of digital education. The pandemic has exposed the lack of preparation in this regard.
• School context: The schools in which the program will be implemented are located in the municipality of San Fernando, in a vulnerable social context.

Project Objectives

• Promote positive educational equality in the face of technological change.
• Develop teaching skills in flipped classrooms (face-to-face + online).
• Incorporate computational thinking in the curriculum in a transversal way.
• Create techno-pedagogical leadership capacities in management teams, teachers and students that promote sustainable institutional change processes.
