Scholarships For Top Students At ACAS’s Borderland Schools
Description: ACAS (Association of Argentine Service Clubs) seeks to ensure that all Argentine children have access to an education. To these ends, we manage the Nacional Program for the Construction and Mantenance of Schools in the Frontier, which has built 13 schools in the borderlands of Argentina. This has given more than 3500 children the opportunity to receive an education in isolated and marginalized regions of the country. ACAS also runs a scholarship and sponsorship program for students at the schools, which seeks to award and encourage hard work and dedication among the most outstanding students. For this, we seek sponsors for the students that support and award pupils that demonstrate the most dedication to their studies. With only AR$350 (US$120) annually, less than AR$1 a day, a student can receive a scholarship to continue on to secondary school, and have opportunity to acheive success.
Budget: AR$350 (US$120) per scholarship per year
