Ambulatory Operating Rooms Project
Currently, the Austral University Hospital has 9 operating rooms, all of high complexity, located on the first floor. Ordinarily, they operate from Monday to Friday from 6 am to 11 pm, Saturdays from 7 am to 9 pm, and on Sundays, two or three operating rooms function from 7 am to 9 pm. In total, over 16,000 surgeries are performed annually: an average of 1,415 surgeries per month, an average of 63 surgeries per day, and an average of 7 surgeries per operating room per day.
